ABOUT

The Frozen Green Thumb Garden Club has been part of mountain life for decades, bringing neighbors together to learn, share, and give back. What started as a group with a love for gardening has blossomed into a fellowship that reaches and supports the canyon communities in countless ways.

The club is best known for its successful annual plant sale event and their delectable bake sale goodies, which raise funds for local projects and provide donations for causes that matter to the communities. From restoration efforts to providing support in times of need, the Garden Club is rooted in community service and soil.

Beyond fundraising, the heart of the Garden Club is friendship and connectedness. Members share a love for learning about the unique plants and wildlife of the San Bernardino Mountains, while finding joy in their productive, side-by-side dedication to their passion. It’s a circle where neighbors discover not only how to grow and nurture gardens, but how to grow and nurture community.

Another important way to help is by putting your name on the club’s notification list. When you stay informed, you stay connected, and when you know, then you help. That awareness is often the first step toward community support.

This broad base of caring, from both members and friends, is part of why the Garden Club has endured and continues to flourish today.

Upcoming Event: September Progressive Lunch

This September, the Garden Club is hosting a Progressive Lunch — an open invitation for members, friends, and anyone curious about the club to come enjoy a day of food, fellowship, and mountain hospitality. RSVP by email required so the club can prepare meals for everyone attending.

New members are always welcome, and the Progressive Lunch is a great way to get to know the group in a warm, neighborly setting.
